• World Book Day

  Children can come to school dressed as a character from a book to celebrate World Book Day. More information can be found here.

  As part of our world book day celebrations we have set the children and you a fun challenge. Below are some book word puzzles.

   

  Each picture shows a letter the write down, when you have collected all the letters they can be rearranged to make the name of a well know story character.

   

  There is also a child's book title to work out and for the grown ups a book you may recognise too, some have even been turned into films. Each book is revealed with words and/or pictures.

   

  Each child will come home with a sheet for you to record your answers.

   

  The same clues will be hidden around the playgrounds on Early Years and Key Stage 1 for you to find a drop off and collection time if you prefer to do it then. Please bring a pen or pencil to record your answers with.
