A letter from Sir Lenny
Children from Year 2 wrote to Sir Lenny Henry to inform him of the official renaming of our library - The Sir Lenny Henry Library of Learning. He was delighted to receive their letters and wrote back, sending signed photographs for everybody!
Bug Hotels
As part of their science work, Year 2 pupils were challenged to make a Bug Hotel at home. Well done to all of our pupils who took part with their amazing creations.
Ice cream!
What a treat we all had today! The ice-cream man paid us a visit on the hottest day of the year. We had to eat them quickly before they melted!
As part of our Sunshine and Sunflowers project in Early Years we have developed the garden area planting lots of different seeds. Can you see how much our flowers and vegetables have grown? Oh no! Where have the fairy houses gone and the bird bath? We must say a BIG thank you to parents for donating so many flowers and helping make Sunshine bloom, we are now extremely busy watering!
Welcome to our Early Years outdoor environment where all children have fun learning and exploring in the different areas which include the mud kitchen, construction site, music area, talking stage and even a bug hotel!
