Please read the information below which gives details of our PE and Sport Premium Grant and how we allocate the funding.

As of 2013, schools have been allocated a Sports Premium Allowance to support the development of Physical Education within schools. Here at Sunshine, we are committed to using the additional funding to inspire each one of our children through physical development. We aim to broaden the opportunities and experiences that we will provide, to enhance and promote their enjoyment of PE. Through this we hope to build strong foundations to encourage the children to adopt healthy, active lifestyles and to develop their enthusiasm to become outstanding in the field of sport in the future. We envisage that children will develop a healthy, competitive spirit from an early age, whilst valuing the importance of taking part and achieving their own goals.  Through the opportunities that we will provide, our children will learn to follow rules, accept defeat and strive to succeed, such skills which will translate across the curriculum and prepare them for adult life.
