Internet Safety

As part of the schools ICT provision we offer pupils access to a range of information sources including the Internet.  The Internet enables pupils to explore vast amounts of information with the aim to further educational goals and objectives.  We believe that the Internet can make a significant contribution to your child’s education and is an integral part of the curriculum.

Unfortunately the Internet can also provide access to less desirable information.  Measures have been put in place to ensure that internet access is appropriate and safe within school.

You may find the below information useful in helping your child stay safe online if they have access to the internet at home.

Thinkuknow

Thinkyou know is an education programme from the National Crime Agency.  It aims to ensure that Parents/Carers, children and professionals who work with them have access to practical information on internet safety.
